Barnesville man, 53, dies after motorcycle wreck
MIDDLEPORT – A Barnesville man died at an area hospital after a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon.
James Lake, 53, of Barnesville, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill – East Norwegian Street according to the State Police at Frackville.
Troopers said the crash happened around 4:30pm Wednesday on Mountain Road at Tumbling Run Road in Blythe Township, near Middleport.
Lake was riding a 2023 Triumph Tiger when he lost control of the bike and crashed, according to troopers.
He was wearing a helmet.
