Schuylkill Gives returns for 6th year with 46 organizations participating

POTTSVILLE – This Wednesday will mark the 6th year of what organizers describe as “a powerful force for local impact,” Schuylkill Gives.

It’s an opportunity to help out nonprofits countywide, led by the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation.

Last year, it raised over $50,000 for 35 nonprofits.

This year, the event will take place from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday.

“We’re thrilled to continue this tradition in 2025 and provide a platform that celebrates the nonprofit sector,” said Amanda Campbell, Executive Director or Schuylkill Area Community Foundation. “Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to lasting change in our region.”

This year’s event includes an easy-to-use online donation platform at www.schuylkillgives.com; matching gift opportunities and prize incentives; social media engagement; and more.

This year, 46 nonprofits are involved.
