Watro wins re-election by more than 2-to-1 margin for State Representative
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Dane Watro (R-116) resoundingly won his re-election bid to represent northern Schuylkill County and the Hazleton area in Harrisburg.
Watro — an Army veteran and former McAdoo mayor — was challenged by Democrat Deborah Adoff, a retired court stenographer from Eagle Rock.
With 98% of precincts reporting as of 5:30am, Watro held well over a 2-to-1 margin, with 13,866 votes to Adoff’s 4,907 votes.
Watro was first elected to the state House in 2022.
