Jazz bands to come together for festival at North Schuylkill
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – High school jazz bands from across east-central Pennsylvania will perform at the North Schuylkill High School in mid May for the school’s first ever jazz festival.
“This adjudication will feature ten different performing groups from eight area high schools, as well as a performance from the M&J Big Band of Pottsville,” North Schuylkill Band Director Jacob Shoener said in a release.
Ten jazz bands are lined up, including North Schuylkill, Shenandoah Valley, Southern Lehigh, Williams Valley, and more.
The North Schuylkill High School Chorale kicks things off at 6pm and bands perform at 15 minute intervals.
