PSP: Frackville woman called cops on juveniles ‘shining lights’ in her windows 32 times in four months
FRACKVILLE – State Police at Frackville said a woman in that borough is being cited for calling the police nearly three dozen times in four months, including three times in the past week, accusing juveniles of shining lights in her windows.
Troopers said they were called to a home on North Railroad Avenue Thursday night, Monday morning, and Tuesday morning for the same reports by a 36-year-old Frackville woman.
In media releases, troopers said both they and local police have responded 32 times for such calls and “all prior claims were unfounded.”
“While troopers were on scene for this incident, the caller’s claim was easily disproved,” Trooper Jordan Mroczka wrote in the release.
The caller was advised to only contact the police if there was an emergency or crime actually being committed.
Troopers said her windows had several layers of material preventing any light from shining into the home.
