PSP: Hometown McDonalds burglarized by man who ate cinnamon roll, tried to cook fries

HOMETOWN – A man broke into a fast food restaurant in this Rush Township village and, when he couldn’t get into the safe or cash registers, helped himself to a cinnamon roll and tried to make some fries.

State Police at Frackville said it happened around 2:30am Sunday morning at the McDonalds restaurant on Lincoln Drive.

Troopers said the man broke in through a locked door and, while inside, he tried to get into a locked safe and locked cash registers.

When he couldn’t get in, he swiped a cinnamon rolled and tried to cook french fries.

Troopers said the white man, with a beard and mustache, average height with a stocky build, was wearing a black t-shirt reading DBI on the front and “One Team, One Dream,” and has collar length black or brown hair. He has tattoos on his right forearm.
