PSP: Turkey Hill received bomb threat by phone Monday

SHENANDOAH – The Turkey Hill convenience store in downtown Shenandoah closed Monday after receiving a bomb threat from a blocked phone number, State Police said in a release Tuesday.

Troopers said they were called to the convenience store on South Main Street just before 5pm.

The store, they said, received a call from a blocked phone number threatening “to blow something up in the store before hanging up.”

A State Police bomb K9 was called and searched the store and the surrounding property and found nothing.

Troopers are continuing to investigate.

The store was closed Monday because of the incident, though Main Street and Ferguson Street both remained open.
