No injuries in rollover crash that closed Gold Star Highway southbound Sunday night
GILBERTON – A Frackville woman escaped injury when State Police say she lost control of her SUV and crashed on the Gold Star Highway Sunday night, closing the southbound lanes for a time.
The crash happened around 9:30pm on the Gold Star just south of Gilberton.
State Police at Frackville said 21-year-old Sara Ryman, of Frackville, was headed north on the highway in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee when she lost control while taking a right-hand curve.
The SUV jumped the center concrete median and rolled, coming to a rest on its side in the southbound lanes.
Ryman was uninjured in the crash.
The southbound lanes of the Gold Star were closed from Gilberton to Frackville during the crash.
Troopers said she will be cited for the crash.
