Mahanoy man with meth, warrant arrested at Brown Bag
BARNESVILLE – A Mahanoy City man is in county prison awaiting extradition to Columbia County after state troopers arrested him at a convenience store here on Sept. 29.
State Police at Frackville said they were called to the Brown Bag at 832 Barnesville Drive around 12:30pm regarding an individual in the store with an active bench warrant.
Troopers arrived to find Eric Weeks, 30, of Mahanoy City, who had an active warrant from Columbia County.
Weeks was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and was taken into custody.
He was taken to Schuylkill County Prison, awaiting extradition to Columbia County, and is facing drug possession charges in Schuylkill County as well.
