Another crash stifles traffic on Sheppton Mountain

SHEPPTON – Sunday afternoon marked the latest in a series of crashes along a stretch of Route 924 in East Union Township, but, thankfully, no one was hurt.
Firefighters were called to the highway on the Sheppton Mountain just outside the village for a crash around 3pm.

A Toyota Prius was wrecked and disabled in the southbound lane. No serious injuries were reported and State Police are investigating.
The crash was in the same area a Toyota minivan rolled in September and a Hazleton man was killed in another crash in August.
