Two found dead in Barnesville home
BARNESVILLE – Two people were found dead at a home in this Ryan Township village following a welfare check Saturday night, and state troopers are investigating.
State Police at Frackville said they were called to a home on Maple Avenue in the village around 6:30pm Saturday for a welfare check.
Troopers found two people dead inside — 56-year-old Lisa Long, who lived in the home, and 52-year-old Ronald Zangari, of Girardville.
The State Police Troop L Major Case Team was activated and is investigating.
Troopers said the incident is considered isolated and there is no threat to the public.
