Department of Health confirms Schuylkill coronavirus case

HARRISBURG, Dauphin County – There is a case of coronavirus in Schuylkill County, the PA Department of Health confirmed today.
The department, however, did not provide any further details, regarding where in the county the case is or if it was reported by one of its three hospitals.
The case is among 108 new cases statewide, bringing the total to 479 across the Commonwealth. 4,964 patients tested have come back negative, and two people have died, one on each end of the state.
The reported cases, the DoH says, are either in isolation at home or are being treated at the hospital.
“Our notable increase in cases over the last few days indicate we need everyone to take COVID-19 seriously,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said in a media release. “Pennsylvanians have a very important job right now: stay calm, stay home and stay safe. We have seen case counts continue to increase and the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home.”
Columbia and Dauphin Counties also now have a single reported case in each of them. Luzerne County has seven, including one reported in Hazleton city, according to that city’s mayor, Jeff Cusat.
Berks County to our south has 13, Lehigh has 19, and Lebanon has three.
The remaining neighboring counties, Northumberland and Carbon, have no reported cases as of March 22.

Wouldnt I it help if we could sanitize the air indoors first then wipe down surfaces. I think it would help alot . Im sure there are sprays that can be used indoors that will kill the virus or slow it down. Its worth a chance it wouldnt hurt
