Body found near Bloomsburg; troopers investigating
MONTOUR TWP. – State troopers are investigating after a body was found in a rural area in Columbia County over the weekend.
According to the State Police at Bloomsburg, troopers were called to Ridge Road in Montour Township, near Bloomsburg, just before 7am on Saturday.
Troopers said a body was found in that area and the Troop N Major Case Team is investigating.
There is no threat to the public, troopers said.
