Man, 28, killed in Luzerne County motorcycle crash
ST. JOHNS – A Drums man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash north of Hazleton Wednesday night.
According to Butler Township (Luzerne County) Police, Jeremy J. Debias, Jr., 28, died in a motorcycle crash along St. Johns Road.
Debias was reported missing by concerned family members when he didn’t return home. Police said he was later found with his 1997 Kawasaki motorcycle in a field in the 600 block of St. Johns Road around 10:30pm.
Butler Township Police said they believed the crash happened as Debias was rounding a curve.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
Officers were assisted by firefighters from Sugarloaf Township and Valley Region, LVHN EMS, and police from Sugarloaf Township.
