Hazle Township man faces federal drug, dog fighting charges
HAZLE TWP. – A Hazle Township man is facing federal charges, accused of training pit bulls for dog fighting.
Brandon Crum, 39, of Hazle Township, was indicted by a federal grand jury, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced this week.
According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, the indictment alleges that Crum possessed and trained eight American Pit Bull Terriers for the purpose of having the dogs participate in an animal fighting venture.
He is also accused of distributing meth on several occasions in Luzerne County.
