CEBA construction expected to wrap in January

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - The new Center for Education, Business, and the Arts takes shape on North Main Street in Shenandoah, seen on Sept. 18, 2025.

SHENANDOAH – Progress is continuing on the Center for Education, Business, and the Arts in downtown Shenandoah.

In a recent newsletter, Downtown Shenandoah, Inc., said the building is expected to be completely done by January. That includes both phases of the project.

“CEBA’s collaborative environment will help to revitalize our communities, fill empty storefronts, and create new jobs,” DSI said. “CEBA will also generate visibility within Shenandoah, attracting prospective patrons, artists, businesses, and visitors to stimulate local and regional economic development.”

The projected opening is expected in January 2026 and a ribbon-cutting and grand opening will take place then.

The center will include the Ted and Jean Twardzik Memorial Kitchen, a Penn State classroom, a multi-purpose event center, and more.
