PHOTOS: Fall foliage makes early appearance in northern Schuylkill

FRACKVILLE – It may seem a little early, but we’re starting to see pockets of reds and yellows among the green forests of northern Schuylkill County as summertime wanes.

One vivid example is along the Gold Star Highway near the Gilberton/West Mahanoy Township/Frackville line.
