PHOTOS: Mahanoy City Memorial Day parade draws crowd

MAHANOY CITY – The Mahanoy City community lined the streets of the borough Monday for the annual Memorial Day parade.

More than two dozen organizations took part in the annual event.

Joe Filanowski served as grand marshal.

Two bands participated — the Mahanoy Area High School Band and the Upper Schuylkill Marching Band — as well as various fire companies from the Mahanoy City area, community groups, and more.
