Authorities seek trash dumpers one week after town-wide clean-up

SHENANDOAH – A week after a community clean-up in town, borough officials are looking to identify individuals caught on camera leaving their trash along an east end alleyway.

The dumpers, who left behind a recliner on South Lehigh Street, were the second of two incidents recently, Borough Manager Mike Cadau said at Monday’s borough council meeting. The others, he said, were caught.

Cadau shared video of the Lehigh Street incident with the Sentinel. He called the incidents “very shameful.”

If you know who they are, call borough police.

He also thanked everyone involved in the community clean-up last weekend and said there will be another clean-up on May 31.
