Michalik named head volleyball coach at Shenandoah Valley

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah Valley has a new volleyball head coach, and she’s no stranger to the program.
The Shenandoah Valley school board approved hiring Molly Michalik as the girls’ volleyball head coach at Wednesday night’s school board meeting.
A 2017 Shenandoah Valley graduate, she was a standout as a player and has served as an assistant coach for the past few years under longtime head coach Tom Lauta who stepped down after last season. He will be a volunteer coach this year.
Sitlali Medina and Kristina Nieddu will be assistant coaches, and Madisyn Kowalick and Shannon Sacco will be volunteer coaches.
