SHENANDOAH – We’re now under one week away from the first games of the high school football season, and our local teams took part in scrimmages Saturday morning.

Shenandoah Valley hosted a suburban Philadelphia team, Jenkintown, at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Head Coach Dave Bench and this year’s team, with Tristian Karosas under center at quarterback, had their first opportunity to practice against another team ahead of next Saturday’s season opener.

The Devils open the 2024 campaign on the road at Columbia Montour Vo-Tech.
