Three injured when SUV strikes deer, rolls in Barry Township
BEURYS LAKE – Three people were taken to local hospitals after their SUV struck a deer and rolled on Route 901 near this Barry Township village late Sunday.
The crash happened around 10pm on Route 901 at Beurys Road.
A Honda CR-V was headed north toward Lavelle when it struck a deer, left the roadway, and rolled several times.
Three people were hurt in the crash but were able to get out of the overturned Honda on their own.
Two adults and a child were taken to local hospitals by Minersville and Ashland EMS.
Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Lavelle, Gordon, Ashland, and Minersville.
State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating.
