CATAWISSA TWP., Columbia County – Three people — including one from town — escaped injury when a pickup truck overturned in rural Columbia County early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on Old Reading Road around 2:00am, according to State Police at Bloomsburg.
Troopers said 19-year-old Dylan M. Reinard, of Catawissa, was travelling along the road when he lost control of his 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.
The pickup left the right-hand side of the roadway, striking an embankment and rolling onto its driver’s side.
The vehicle suffered minor damage and was towed from the scene.
Reinard and two passengers — Deanna R. Hoffman, 19, of Shenandoah, and Noah J. Fry, 20, of Mount Carmel — escaped injury. All were wearing their seatbelts.
Troopers said Reinard will be cited for speeding.
