SHENANDOAH – Two teens were taken to the borough police station for questioning after a brush fire report at Girard Park Monday afternoon.

The teens allegedly set fire to leaves and other debris using index cards inside the basketball courts at the park at Main and Washington Streets.

Shenandoah Fire responded to the call around 4:45pm and found no active fire.

The call came as a wintry mix moved into the Shenandoah Valley, minimizing the fire risk.
