SV Schools protected by borough, school police this year
SHENANDOAH – This year, along with a Shenandoah Borough Police officer, the Shenandoah Valley School District is now protected by two SVSD police officers.
The three officers have a combined service of 75 years to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as Active-Duty Law Enforcement Officers.
In a statement released by Superintendent Brian Waite, the Shenandoah Valley District says it is grateful for the cooperation that exists between the Shenandoah Valley School District Police and the Shenandoah Borough Police Department.
“Together our students are provided with the opportunity to matriculate in a safe educational environment conducive to learning,” Waite said.
