Soup sale to benefit Weston community park

WESTON – This Saturday, come out to the Nuremberg-Weston firehouse to try more than a dozen soups for a good cause.
The Weston Athletic Association is hosting their second annual soup fest to support the Weston Park this Saturday, Jan. 18 from noon until 2pm.
Cost is $5 for five soups, and $10 for more than five.
At least 13 soups will be available, including Chicken Gnocchi, Beef Barley, Sausage/Clam, Ham & Bean, Broccoli Cheese, Minestrone, Cheeseburger, Polish Ham Kielbasi, and more.
Chefs are competing for the People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice awards.
There’s also a basket raffle and baked goods sale. Basket donations are being accepted through Friday and can be dropped off from 6pm to 7pm Friday at the Weston fire hall.
All proceeds go towards the Weston Park and improvements planned in the spring.
