SHENANDOAH – Cars, buses, and school students were brought to a crawl as they climbed West Centre Street as a snow squall blew through town just in time for Shenandoah Valley Schools to let out.
The white stuff began to fall just after 2:00pm in the Shenandoah area, bringing intermittent bands of heavy snowfall.
Between such bands, which restricted visibility to about a block and a half, peaks of blue skies could be seen.

Main roads were partway slush covered, partway snow covered, while most side roads remained snow covered.
PennDOT trucks traversed Main and Centre Streets as well.

By 4:00pm, the snow squalls began to move out of the Shenandoah area, revealing the sun just prior to sunset.
No incidents were reported in the Shenandoah area as a result of the snowfall.
