Shenandoah man featured on PBS program Antiques Roadshow
SHENANDOAH – If you were tuned in to WVIA-TV this evening, you might’ve seen a familiar face.
Our local PBS affiliate premiered a new episode of Antiques Roadshow this evening.
The program features specialists from country’s leading auction houses and independent dealers offering free appraisals of antiques and collectibles.
Monday night’s episode was taped at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts, and a Shenandoah man made the five-hour trek to get a camera appraised.
Charlie Vascavage was shown for about 30 seconds early in the program.
He brought an antique Vista Motion Picture Camera and Projector, telling the show’s producers that he was given the hand-crank camera from a local barber for a favor.
