Rush Township Police to host Halloween 5k

HOMETOWN – For the second year, the Rush Township Police Department will host a 5k run/walk on Saturday, October 19 at the Hometown Farmer’s Market.
The proceeds from the run will go towards the Rush Township Community Parks.
Pre-registration prior to October 11 costs $20, and t-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registrants. The registration deadline on race day is 9:30am, and the cost then is $25. Registration and packet pickup will be 9am to 9:30am on race day.
Registration forms are available at the township website, www.rushtownship.org, or at the township office at 104 Mahanoy Avenue in Hometown.
Awards will be given to overall male and female runners and medals for males and females in each age group.
