PSP investigating shots fired at wind turbines

RAVEN RUN – Someone fired shots at two wind turbines at the Locust Ridge II wind farm, and state troopers are trying to find out who.
State Police at Frackville said they were called around 9:30am Monday for the incident.
Two wind turbines were “intentionally shot with a firearm,” troopers said, at Avangrid Renewables wind farm off Raven Run Road.
Nearby, someone cut a PPL utility pole and its wires and fired shots at it, too.
Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call State Police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.
