Pole sheared in Union crash
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - A damaged Subaru sits in a field along Aristes Road in Union Township.
UNION TWP. – No one was hurt when a car struck and sheared a utility pole on Aristes Road here yesterday.
The crash happened around 6:30pm Wednesday in the area of 623 Aristes Road.
A Subaru SUV headed west towards Aristes ran off the side of the road and struck a pole.
According to fire officials at the scene, no one was hurt in the crash and Union Township Police were investigating.
Responding to the scene were firefighters from Ringtown and Shenandoah, police from Union Township and East Union Township, and Shenandoah Ambulance.
