Pickup truck stolen in New Philly turns up in old Philly

NEW PHILADELPHIA – State Police at Frackville are investigating a vehicle theft in New Philadelphia, and the investigation led to the original Philadelphia.
Troopers said they were called to a home on Water Street in New Philadelphia after a 2009 Honda Ridgeline was swiped from a home in the early morning hours of July 21.
The pickup was entered into a stolen vehicle database and was found parked, unattended, near Stringer Square in the City of Philadelphia, nearly 100 miles away.
Troopers said the investigation is ongoing.
