RINGTOWN – Upper Schuylkill’s 9-11 All-Star tournament run came to an end Saturday.
Upper Schuylkill hosted Saint Clair/Port Carbon/New Philadelphia for the District 24 9-11 Little League semifinals.
The two squads began evenly, with the score standing at 3-apiece in the second inning.

By the bottom of the sixth, SPN held a 17-10 advantage.
Upper Schuylkill managed to score two runs in the bottom of the sixth, but couldn’t close the gap, falling 17-12.
SPN moves on to face Ashland at Schoentown in next Friday’s final.
