Nuremberg man flips Mustang in village, escapes injury
NUREMBERG – A man from this North Union Township village escaped injury, but will be cited after he flipped his classic Mustang.
The crash happened around 7:30pm Sunday at Nuremberg Mountain Road and Stauffer Avenue, according to State Police at Hazleton.
Troopers said Jeremy Schlauch, 42, of Nuremberg was headed south on Nuremberg Mountain Road on the way into the village in a 1965 Ford Mustang.
The crash happened when he came around a left turn, then tried to turn right onto Stauffer Avenue and hit an embankment, rolling the car over.
Schlauch escaped injury, and the vehicle was towed.
Nuremberg-Weston firefighters responded to the scene.
Troopers said Schlauch would be cited for traffic violations as a result of the crash.
