North Schuylkill crowns homecoming royalty

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – The return of spectators was not the only way a sense of normalcy returned to Spartan Stadium Friday night.
North Schuylkill crowned their homecoming queen and princess at halftime at Friday night’s game between the Spartans and Marian Catholic.
Five students were elected to this year’s homecoming court: Joslin Stitzer, Nevaida Rau, Morgan Koutch, Maddie Welker, and Sarah Wagner.
This year, the candidates and their escorts marched down midfield holding roughly 6′ wide banners.
This year’s homecoming princess was revealed as Morgan Koutch, and the queen was Maddie Welker.
