No one hurt in downtown Shamokin crash

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - The scene of Friday's crash in Shamokin.
SHAMOKIN, Northumberland County – No one was hurt when a car struck two parked cars, pushing one into a parking meter and building.
The crash happened around 5:30pm in the 100 block of East Independence Street in Shamokin.
Firefighters from the Shamokin City Bureau of Fire responded to find a Ford Fusion had collided with a parked Ford F-150 and Ford Escape.

The F-150 had been pushed onto the sidewalk, where it struck and downed a parking meter before striking for former Jones Hardware and Knights of Columbus building.
No injuries were reported in the crash, though all three vehicle were towed from the scene.

Responding to the scene along with the Bureau of Fire were Shamokin Police.
The vehicles were towed from the scene by Anthracite Towing and B&B Service Center of Mt. Carmel.
