No injuries in West Mahanoy rollover crash

WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – Two people are uninjured after their vehicle flipped over an embankment on a snowy PA Route 924 near Shenandoah Heights Saturday afternoon.
State Police at Frackville say, around 12:30pm, a 17-year-old female from Shenandoah was travelling northbound on a snowy Route 924, when they lost control of their vehicle.
Their 1996 Chevy Tracker then ran off the eastern berm, struck the guiderail’s ending, and rolled over the embankment.
The vehicle came to a rest in the embankment, on its wheels and facing southwest.
The driver, and a passenger, identified as 19-year-old Irvin Garcia, of Shenandoah, were unharmed, and both were wearing seatbelts.
Responding to the scene were crews from the Shenandoah Heights Fire Company and Shenandoah Community Ambulance, along with state police.
Recovering the vehicle was Steve’s Towing, of Shenandoah.
