No injuries in Fountain Springs fender bender caused by deer

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – No one was injured when two vehicles were disabled after a rear-end collision in Fountain Springs yesterday morning, triggered by a deer crossing the highway.
The crash occurred on Fountain Street, Route 61, near Malones Road around 9:00am Friday, according to State Police at Frackville.
At that time, Jeffrey Fago, 41, of Ashland, was headed southbound on Route 61, trailed by Kelly Brensinger, 25, of Locustdale when a deer crossed the roadway.
Fago’s Chevrolet Cruze was struck by Brensinger’s Mitsubishi Lancer as Brensinger came to a stop to avoid the deer. Both people were seatbelted and uninjured.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
