Mahanoy Township appoints new emergency manager
MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – In a short regular meeting, Mahanoy Township supervisors appointed a new emergency management coordinator and renewed their police mutual aid agreement with Mahanoy City borough.
Thursday’s meeting lasted about five minutes at the municipal building on West Centre Street.
Supervisors approved the appointment of Paul Brutto Jr. as the township’s emergency management coordinator.
Supervisors also approved the renewal of the township police department’s mutual aid agreement with Mahanoy City Borough.
Harry Brown, officer-in-charge, said the renewal is so the township has an updated agreement.
