Mahanoy inducts four into athletics hall of fame

MAHANOY CITY – Prior to Friday night’s football game against Tri-Valley, the Mahanoy Area School District community inducted four standout athletes into the second class of their athletics hall of fame.
This year’s class included Eugene “Gino” Capone, Mahanoy City Class of 1943; Daniel Lucyk, Mahanoy Area Class of 1964; Stanley Wlodarczyk, Mahanoy Area Class of 1965; and Thomas Scheeler, Mahanoy Area Class of 2007.
