WILLIAM PENN – A Lost Creek woman was taken to a Montour County hospital after she crashed her compact into a utility pole in West Mahanoy Township.
The crash occurred on PA Route 54 in the village of William Penn just before 1:30pm yesterday, when a 2018 Ford Focus driven by Victoria A. Polosky, 58, of Lost Creek, traveling eastbound left the roadway, according to State Police at Frackville.
Troopers say she struck a pole on the north berm of the roadway, and her vehicle came to a rest along the roadside.
Polosky was treated at the scene by EMTs from Shenandoah and Mahanoy City. Mahanoy City Ambulance subsequently transported her to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, troopers said.
