Locals named to county football dream team
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - Shenandoah Valley's Nick Ryan, seen at the game against Hancock (MD), was named to the SCFCA Dream Team.
SHENANDOAH – Several players from our local teams were named to the Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association Dream Team.
North Schuylkill is well-represented, while one player each from Shenandoah and Mahanoy Area were named to the team.
On Offense, Shenandoah Valley’s record-setting senior receiver Nick Ryan was named a dream-team receiver alongside North Schuylkill’s Joey Flail.
Spartan sophomore quarterback Caden Mengel and junior kicker/punter Gavin Mentzer were also named to the offensive team.
On defense, Mahanoy’s Colm McGroarty and North Schuylkill’s Flail and Collin McGee were named defensive backs.
