Local author, TV host releases book
HAZLETON – An author from the Hazleton area recently released a book he says blends humor, wit, and real-world drinking wisdom for alcohol aficionados.
Jeff Bonomo, a local musician and host of the television program Wine, Hops, and Road Stops, which airs on Hazleton’s WYLN-TV 35, recently released The Drinker’s Guide to Survival: Navigating Life, One Drink at a Time.
It’s available on Amazon and will soon hit bars, breweries, and bottle shops across Pennsylvania.
“I wanted to write something fun, something that feels like talking with your funniest drinking buddy,” Bonomo says. “It’s for anyone who enjoys a beer, a cocktail, a glass of wine or just the stories that come with them. If you’ve ever cracked a beer and suddenly found yourself in a deep conversation, a ridiculous situation, or a debate over the ‘right’ glass to use, then this book is for you.”
The book mixes comedy with education, diving into everything from ancient brewing traditions to modern drinking etiquette, he says.
