HS VOLLEYBALL: Bears sweep Devils, 3-0

MAHANOY CITY – The Golden Bears hosted the Lady Devils of Shenandoah Valley Thursday evening in the Joe Alansky Gymnasium.
The Bears entered the game 10-4, with a spot in the District XI 1A playoffs already clinched, while the Devils were 3-11.
Mahanoy took the first game 25-5, the second game 25-9, and the third 25-13 to secure the 3-0 victory over Shenandoah.
The Bears move on to face Salem Christian in Macungie next Monday.
Shenandoah Valley will be on the road Saturday at North Schuylkill.
