Hazleton man struck by car in mid-March dies at hospital

HAZLETON – A Hazleton man who was struck by a car in mid-March has died, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said Monday.
Michael Mumaw, 68, of Hazleton was struck around 8pm on March 16 at North Church and 8th Streets in the city.
Mumaw was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township, where died Sunday morning, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.
Hazleton Police are investigating the crash.
