Carbon, Columbia, North’d going green next week; Schuylkill staying yellow
HARRISBURG, Dauphin County – Three neighboring counties are moving to the green phase of Governor Tom Wolf’s plan to reopen Pennsylvania, while Schuylkill County will remain yellow.
Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced today that Carbon, Columbia, and Northumberland Counties are among the next slate of 12 moving to the green phase.
The three counties, along with Adams, Beaver, Cumberland, Juniata, Mifflin, Union, Wayne, Wyoming, and York, will reopen June 12.
The green phase lifts the vast majority of restrictions still in place under the yellow phase, though gatherings remain limited to 250 people or less. Indoor dining is permitted under the green phase.
