Car reported stolen in Mount Carbon

MOUNT CARBON – State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a vehicle theft in the borough of Mount Carbon.
Troopers released information today on the incident that happened on January 26.
At 9:30am in the 800 block of South Centre Street, troopers say a red older model International rollback loaded a black 1985 Mazda RX Turbo Coupe and fled.
The flatbed, which had yellow lettering on the doors, did not have the owner’s permission to take the vehicle.
The flatbed left via the Mount Carbon traffic light, then via Route 61 North towards Tumbling Run Road.
Anyone with information on the rollback or the whereabouts of the Mazda is asked to contact PSP-Haven at 570-593-2000.
