SHENANDOAH – Borough police are investigating a possible shooting in the 400 block of West Oak Street which allegedly occurred around 10:00pm Sunday.
According to borough police, officers were called to the intersection of West Oak and South Gilbert Streets for reports of multiple shots fired just after 10:00pm.
“At this time, officers are investigating it,” said Shenandoah Patrolman William Moyer around 1:30am.
Moyer and officers from Mahanoy City, Frackville, and troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police were at the scene late Sunday into early Monday looking over the area around the intersection and in the 400 block.
According to Moyer, evidence was found showing a shooting had occurred.
No injuries had been reported as of 1:30am, Moyer said.
Anyone with any information on the incident that hasn’t spoken to police yet should contact borough police right away, Moyer added, by calling 570-462-1991.
“Anyone that’s seen or heard anything, contact us right away,” Moyer said.
