Borough man accused of assault in Tremont Township
JOLIETT – A Shenandoah man is accused of felony aggravated assault after an incident in Tremont Township over the weekend.
State Police at Schuylkill Haven said they were called to a business in the 280 block of Route 209 in Tremont Township for a reported physical altercation resulting in injuries.
Troopers found that the man responsible had fled.
That man, 47-year-old Arthur Needham, of Shenandoah, was promptly located and arrested.
He is facing two felony counts of aggravated assault, two misdemeanor counts of simple assault, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, and summary harassment.
Needham was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge James Reiley and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
