Basket raffle, bake sale set to help Gold Star crash victim
FRACKVILLE – A fundraiser is being organized to help one of the victims of July’s wreck on the Gold Star Highway.
Jeffrey Livergood, 22, of Frackville was one of the victims of that crash and suffered a traumatic brain injury.
He has been in the hospital ever since and organizers said he “will need a lot of care and help with his long-term recovery.”
A basket raffle and bake sale is set for Dec. 1 through Dec. 3 at the Frackville American Legion, and donations of baskets, food, and money are being accepted.
All proceeds go to the Livergood family.
